Take a look at the latest article from Tech in Asia about how Israel might be the greatest teacher Asia could follow when it comes to the tech scene. I was cited, along with my company Due.com, after visiting Tel Aviv and seeing firsthand what Asia has to learn from Israeli startups. At one of the biggest startup gatherings in Israel, I saw a venture capitalist from China say that while they (Israel) might have the tech, China has the money. Funding is becoming more and more available to Israel startups.

I must say I have to agree! The startup scene in Israel is phenomenal and growing at a staggering pace. It’s outperforming all countries in Asia in that regard, but when it comes down to money Asia has the upper hand. Working together is obviously the best possible scenario, and fortunately (for everyone), that’s what’s happening.

However, a few issues need to be worked out first. For example, professionalism needs to be prioritized over politeness, which can be a challenge within cultures. There also needs to be an investment in younger entrepreneurs and startups, which can be scary for some VCs.
