BlogRags just released their list of the best blogging tools as shared by 37 online marketing pros, and I was happy to share my go-to tools with them. I love Searchmetrics because it’s an easy way to see what content is doing well and what needs more attention. Of course, WordPress is a given but since it’s the top CMS system available, I thought it was worth mentioning. I especially like using “edit flow” to keep editing in one voice.

I’m also a big fan of TinyTorch, which lets me craft and publish photos to engage more users. Studies show that readers are wanting more visuals, including photos and videos, and that’s the new MO for a lot of content. If you don’t give your readers what they want, they’ll look elsewhere.

I’m not the only blogger bragging about WordPress, and others mention staples like Google AdWords and Google Keyword Tool. Both of these Google offerings are intuitive and offer great results when wielded correctly. Plus, when it comes to SEO, having a database of complementary key words/phrases updated in real time can be a huge help.
