I just spoke at UnGagged in Las Vegas, and it’s clear why Sin City (and all of Nevada!) is quickly becoming the hottest startup hub. I’m honored that Flippa dubbed me one of the conference’s “top speakers” and featured me in their recent recap. I was in Las Vegas representing Due.com—a domain I bought on Flippa for $130,000. I also spoke about my work as a columnist for TechCrunch, Entrepreneur Magazine, Inc. and Forbes. For UnGagged, I touched on empowering startup ventures and entrepreneurs via public relations efforts.

It was an incredible event where there were fellow speakers like Kaspar Szymanski on hand, who shared his experience with SEO and what he learned when he was on Google’s Search Quality Team. There was also Duane Forrester, the Head of Webmaster Outreach for Bing. He talked about what’s happening behind closed doors, like the fact that Facebook makes you allow camera/mic access on mobile devices as part of their latest TOS.

The big topics of conversation ranged from reputation management to social media marketing, affiliate marketing to content marketing, and web asset acquisitions to paid search. In just its second year, I can’t wait to see what UnGagged comes up with for 2016!
