LinkedIn is all about connections. But, just how important are your LinkedIn connections? According to research from Adogy, which was shared by John Rampton, here’s how significant those connections can be when receiving a callback from a “stranger”:

  • 3x more likely if you contact a mutual acquaintance.
  • 4x more likely if the connection calls to make an introduction.
  • 11x more likely if they have an actual connection.
  • Also, over 34% of top sellers were introduced by connections, as well as 39% receiving referrals from connections. In other words, connections matter.
