It’s not too early to start planning your marketing campaign for next year! At SEMrush blog, I was just featured talking about the best approaches for seasonal marketing campaigns. In my experience, small businesses often target other businesses (it’s a B2B world out there). If you’re an enterprise, your audience is more likely people. There’s a big difference between the two!

If you’re marketing to fellow business owners, you already have a lot in common. It’s a win-win situation. For enterprises, it can be trickier to determine exactly what your many customers want. Know where you stand with your business and who your target audience is. Knowing if you’re B2B or B2C might be a seemingly simple approach, but it’s one that’s often overlooked.

Additional tips include learning from past events and creating events/marketing approaches that are wholly seasonal. If this isn’t your first holiday season, take a peek at last year. What worked, what didn’t, and what can you change? If you don’t do this every year, you’re trying to reinvent the wheel. Make the most of the holiday season by getting on top of your seasonal marketing!
