Have you ever gotten a review of your product or service online? Please say yes! There are millions of reviews left every single day and this is how a lot of the world researches and makes decisions on how to buy products. If you, like me rely on reviews, here are a few good things you can do to encourage more.

I like giving thanks to every person that left a review. Don’t tell people they get anything if they do, but give them something positive or negative to encourage reviews. This helps people feel that you’re behind them win or lose. I’ve had several people change their negative reviews to a neutral for this (only happened once but still) it makes you feel good!

Give Thanks

I learned this tip while leaving a review. I left a positive review, and a week later I received a gift from that retailer. They didn’t offer anything for it or bribe me. They just sent a nice thank you note with a bottle of wine. It was very unexpected. Now I try and send a thank you note to every person that gives a review (positive and negative) and thank them either way.
