Find out what I shared with Business 2 Community about re-thinking how you manage social media!

Most businesses aren’t optimizing their social media strategies, and there are ten critical ways you can quickly boost your tactics—beginning with knowing who’s looking at your profile. However, that’s just the foundation. The real work begins by re-defining your focus and finding major platforms to focus on. Step two is using social media less (strategically so). Third, see your social media as a tool to lead up to a big event (no matter the real size!).

Fourth, have fun with it because that joy will shine through in your post. Fifth, you should also utilize it as a validation and customer service tool. Don’t use it as an obvious marketing ploy. Sixth, make sure you’re all about quality, and not purely quantity, even though posting on a regular basis (quantity) is important.

Work on building trust with your audience as lucky number seven. When you post testimonials and reviews, that’s a great way to work towards that goal. Make sure you’re headed where your customers are (which loops back to re-focusing on the right platform). Have an eagle eye for ROI, otherwise you’re wasting time and money. Finally, use teaching to engage in an entertaining, thoughtful way.
